Community Spotlight: Meet Heather

We are pleased to introduce you to Heather Ballachey, a member of Poplar’s extended team. Heather is the principal marketing consultant at Change Bomb. She has been supporting us since 2023 and we appreciate her upbeat attitude and marketing expertise which helps us to offer our services to more community members. 

Heather’s career in marketing began in 2008, before smartphone addiction and ChatGPT.  Heather has built and managed marketing plans for a variety of large industries as well as small businesses. A major highlight of her career has been marketing across borders and time zones. Heather has traveled throughout North America, Europe and Hong Kong for her work. She’s truly a people person and centers her marketing approach around deeply understanding her audience and creating content that will connect with them.

When Heather isn’t analyzing website traffic or building a blog strategy, you can usually find her driving her three kids around Tsawwassen, the charming suburb of Vancouver where they live and play. Poplar’s mission resonates with Heather because one of her children has been directly impacted by asthma since before the age of two, often requiring visits to the emergency room and one extended hospital stay. She has seen firsthand the difference that a proactive, whole-health approach can have on improving the quality of life for people with a chronic lung condition. Heather truly believes in what we’re doing here at Poplar Pulmonary Wellness and is thrilled to help us get the word out about it!
